VIETNAM - LAOS - VIETNAM EPIC
16 DAYS, 2000k & 24,000m SOUND GOOD?
We can make it longer or shorter, but for the full epic, these are the numbers. This ride was born of a dream to ride out of Hanoi, over the mountains that mark the border between Vietnam and Laos; then down through the old capital of Luang Prabang and into the Plain of Jars. Not content with that, we added an epilogue from Champaasak, over the Central Highlands and down to our spiritual home of Hoi An.
Landslides, rivers, washed out bridges and overturned trucks weren’t going to stop us. We rode it. Then we rode it again. And now it’s ready: an unpolished diamond for those who aren’t afraid of a bit of dirt, a few hills and some rustic accommodation deep in the Vietnamese and Lao back country.
